IBM Dancers (Nice & Smooth Dancers)
IBM Dancers are known for being backup dancers for Nice & Smooth from NYC. According to E. Boogie, the member of the group, they also danced for Akinyele and Mary J. Blige. This clip is from Nice & Smooth performance at Yo! MTV Raps. In this video, I really like the light skin dude on Red. It maybe hard to see on youtube video but he has a sick flavor on his move. I am not sure if he is the official member of the IBM dancers since I didn’t see him on other Nice & Smooth performance. Please let me know if you know anything about this guy.IBM dancers and Nice & Smooth is supposed to be appeared on 2008 VH1 HIP HOP HONORS AWARD. So, please check out.Talking about Nice & Smooth, they are my favorite rap group. Their songs like “Hip Hop Junkies”, “Funky For You”, “Sometime I Rhyme slow”, and “DWYCK” used to make all dancers on the floor go crazy. I remember at clubs in 90s, when you start hearing the intro beats of DWYCK, I felt like the entire floor was shaking because of the excitement from the crowd.

Peace. This is Cornbread of the I.B.M. Dancers. The light skinned dude in the red is no other than Cliff Love. He is one of the first hip hop dancers to come out of N.Y. He used to dance with Buddah Stretch when they danced for Whoudini. He is one of the reasons the I.B.M. Dancers danced for Nice and Smooth. Thanks adding the video footage of us on Dancemasterz.net. Look out for the I.B.M. Dancers documentary coming soon. Peace.

He did dance with Stretch. My boy Dedan, who danced in a crew with Ejoe, Peter Paul, and Ade (JVC Dancers - Before MopTops Mid to late 80’s), knowledged me on Cliff Love. Dedan used to say a lot of the video dancer guys weren’t club guys.
He said alot of those used to get to get served. He said the guys in Recking Shop were the real deal.

Peace. Yeah I know everybody in that Wrecking Shop documentary. They all know who we are. We all came up in the clubs together from Union Square, Latin Quarters, The World, The Powerhouse, The Building, MK’s, The Red Zone, The Muse, The Sound Factory, The Shelter, Mars. And I’m not even including the videos we was in before we danced for Nice and Smooth. You name the club we was there in the same circles as them catching wreck. You couldn’t even get in the circle if you didn’t get busy. And we stayed in the circle the entire night. We were in the same circle that night they filmed “Wrecking Shop” but the documentary was about them. As a matter of fact Diane Martel, who filmed that, filmed Akineyle’s “Da Bomb” video that we was in. Fam, I always give respect when respect is due. But dudes can never front and act like they don’t who we are and that we caught wreck in those circles. Peace.
